Black Friday AI deals on AI gadgets and AI tools, with sale price tags

Black Friday AI Deals 2026: What Drops and What Never Does

Black Friday AI deals split into two kinds: AI gadgets that drop to real lows, and AI subscriptions that mostly offer a cheap first month. I tracked last year's prices on nine gadgets and tools I'd buy, set a buy-under price for each, and listed the three big AI assistants that never go on sale, so you don't wait for a coupon that won't come.

Short answer

The safest Black Friday AI deals are Amazon devices, AirPods and Fitbit, which hit their record lows in last year's sale week. On software, take annual plans only for tools you already use. ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity don't do Black Friday sales; their yearly plans are the only discount.

🔍 How I picked these deals

I use AirPods Pro, a Fitbit Charge 6, an AirTag, Alexa+ on an Echo, Descript and Claude myself, and those cards say so. The rest are researched: I checked list prices on the makers' pages and last year's sale prices in deal coverage on October 14, and set a buy-under price from the lowest price each item has sold for. Cards marked ⏳ Watching get updated when this year's prices go live.

When do Black Friday AI deals start?

Short answer: Black Friday is Friday, November 27 and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon usually opens a Black Friday week about seven days earlier, so gadget deals can appear from around November 20. AI software tends to peak on Cyber Monday, with early offers for email subscribers from mid-November.

One pattern from last year is worth knowing before you plan: two of the lowest prices on this page, AirPods Pro 3 at $199 and the Echo Dot Max at $79.99, came in the days after Cyber Monday. So if a deal sold out, it isn't always the end. Black Friday AI deals on Amazon's own devices also tend to repeat across the whole week rather than vanish after a day.

Black Friday or Cyber Monday: which is better for AI deals?

Short answer: For AI gadgets, Black Friday week; for AI software, Cyber Monday. Amazon devices, AirPods and Fitbit hit their lows across the Black Friday week, while subscription tools often save their deepest offer for Monday. If an item is at its buy-under price on Friday, take it: these Black Friday AI deals rarely get cheaper on Monday.

Is this Black Friday deal real? A 30-second checker

The crossed-out price on a deal page tells you nothing. What matters is how today's price compares with the lowest price in the last 90 days, and for subscriptions, what you'll pay over a full year. Paste the numbers in and the checker gives you a verdict on any of the Black Friday AI deals you find. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.

6 AI gadgets worth buying in Black Friday AI deals

Each card shows the list price I found, the lowest price it has sold for, and the price I'd wait for. Prices move hourly during the sale, so treat these Black Friday AI deals as targets and check the live listing.

#1 · Best for iPhone🧠 Real AI · I use AirPods Pro

Apple AirPods Pro 3

Live Translation · heart-rate sensor · stronger noise cancelling

Apple AirPods Pro 3 earbuds, a top iPhone pick among Black Friday AI deals
✓ $249 list✓ Last Black Friday: $219.99✓ Record low: $199

I wear AirPods Pro every day, so this is the one card where I can speak to fit and noise cancelling from my own ears. The AI part is Live Translation, which needs a recent iPhone, plus a heart-rate sensor for workouts.

Apple rarely cuts its own price, but retailers do. Last Black Friday Amazon took them to $219.99, and the record low of $199 came a week later, after Cyber Monday. That pattern matters: the best of the Black Friday AI deals on earbuds doesn't always land on the Friday.

🏷️ Price watch: buy at $219 or less. Anything near $199 is the record; at $249, wait.

👍 Pros

  • Best noise cancelling I've worn
  • Live Translation on iPhone
  • Works as a workout heart-rate monitor

👎 Cons

  • Most smart features need an iPhone
  • Record low came after Cyber Monday
  • No lossless audio over Bluetooth
🎯 Best for: iPhone owners who commute, travel or work in noisy rooms.
#2 · Best smart speaker⏳ Watching

Amazon Echo Dot Max (Alexa+)

Built for Alexa+ · built-in smart home hub · nearly 3x the bass of the Dot

Amazon Echo Dot Max smart speaker with Alexa+, one of the most reliable Black Friday AI deals
✓ $119.99 list✓ Record low: $79.99⚠ Alexa+ $19.99/mo without Prime

Amazon raised the Echo Dot Max to $119.99 in August, so older lists that quote $99.99 are out of date. Its record low is $79.99, set right after last year's sale, and Amazon devices are the most reliable Black Friday AI deals there are.

I use Alexa+ on an Echo at home, so I know the assistant: it handles follow-up questions in plain speech. The speaker itself is researched. Alexa+ is included with Prime and costs $19.99 a month without it, so the real price depends on your Prime status.

🏷️ Price watch: aim for $85 or less. At the new $119.99 list, wait for the sale.

👍 Pros

  • Generative Alexa+ included with Prime
  • Zigbee and Matter hub built in
  • Fuller sound than the regular Dot

👎 Cons

  • List price went up in August
  • Alexa+ costs extra without Prime
  • Needs an Amazon account
🎯 Best for: Prime households starting or upgrading a smart home.
#3 · Best value wearable⚙️ Smart · I wear one

Fitbit Charge 6

GPS · heart rate · Google Wallet · about a week of battery

Checking stats on a Fitbit Charge 6, a wearable that drops in Black Friday AI deals
✓ $159.95 list✓ Repeat low: $99.95✓ Works on iPhone and Android

I wear a Charge 6, and it's the most predictable of all the Black Friday AI deals I track: it has dropped to $99.95 on Black Friday, Prime Day and again last November. If you see it at full price in early November, the discount is almost certainly coming.

The smart part is the tracking and the coaching in Google's health app. Some insights sit behind a paid plan, and past deals bundled a free trial of it, so check the listing for that before you pay.

🏷️ Price watch: buy at $105 or less. It has hit $99.95 three times; don't pay $130.

👍 Pros

  • Accurate heart rate for the price
  • Built-in GPS
  • Works with iPhone and Android

👎 Cons

  • Some insights need a subscription
  • Small screen
  • No Apple Health sync
🎯 Best for: anyone who wants fitness tracking without a smartwatch bill.
The most reliable Black Friday AI deals are the boring ones: Amazon's own devices and last year's best sellers. They drop every year, and they drop to the same floor.
#4 · Best stocking stuffer⚙️ Smart · I use it

Apple AirTag (2nd gen) 4-pack

Find My tracker · louder speaker · longer Precision Finding

Apple AirTag on a travel bag, a stocking stuffer that shows up in Black Friday AI deals
✓ $99 four-pack✓ Record low: $79.99⚠ iPhone only

Not AI, but it shows up in every round of Black Friday AI deals. I keep one in my luggage and one on my keys, and it's the gift people use every day. The four-pack is the deal to watch: it hit a record $79.99, about $20 a tag, which makes it easy to split between family members.

For Android users, skip it. My AI gadgets under $50 list covers the Pebblebee Clip, which works on Google's network.

🏷️ Price watch: pay no more than $85 for four.

👍 Pros

  • Easy to split as gifts
  • Huge Find My network
  • Replaceable battery

👎 Cons

  • iPhone only
  • No keyring hole
  • Not rechargeable
🎯 Best for: families with iPhones and frequent travelers.
#5 · Best for meetings⏳ Watching

Plaud Note Pro

AI voice recorder · four mics · auto call and meeting mode

Plaud Note Pro AI voice recorder, a meeting tool to watch in Black Friday AI deals
✓ $179 launch price✓ Promo low: about $143⚠ Transcription minutes are capped

This card-sized recorder sticks to the back of your phone and turns meetings into transcripts and summaries. The Note Pro has four microphones and switches between call and in-person mode on its own, which the original Note can't do.

In past Black Friday AI deals, discounts have been rare and small: the deepest I found was about $143 with a promo code, and Plaud's own sales usually run 15–20% off. Remember the cost after the box: the free plan caps transcription, and heavy users pay for the Pro plan. My AI note taker devices guide works out the two-year cost.

🏷️ Price watch: under $150 is a good price. Some retailers list it at $189, so compare.

👍 Pros

  • Records calls and rooms
  • Auto mode switching
  • Strong summaries

👎 Cons

  • Transcription minutes capped on free plan
  • Small discounts
  • Audio is processed in the cloud
🎯 Best for: managers, students and anyone who lives in meetings.
#6 · Best splurge⏳ Watching

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2)

12MP camera · 3K video · Meta AI · up to 8 hours battery

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 smart glasses, the splurge pick among Black Friday AI deals
✓ From $379✓ Gen 3 launched at $449✓ No subscription

This is the one I expect to move most in this year's Black Friday AI deals. Meta launched Gen 3 in September at $449, and last year the outgoing generation was the one that got cut: Gen 1 fell to about $239 on Black Friday and later to $224. Some Gen 2 styles already sold for about 30% off last November.

The glasses take photos and video, play music and let you ask Meta AI about what you're looking at. Features vary by country, so check what works where you live before you buy.

🏷️ Price watch: under $300 for Gen 2 is a strong price. Don't pay full price for Gen 1 now.

👍 Pros

  • Looks like normal Ray-Bans
  • Hands-free photos and video
  • No monthly fee

👎 Cons

  • Recording LED is easy to miss
  • Meta AI features vary by country
  • Gen 3 is out
🎯 Best for: creators and travelers who want a camera at eye level.

3 AI tools that discount on Black Friday, and the catch

Software Black Friday AI deals look bigger than gadget deals and are usually smaller. Most are a discount on the first month, bonus credits, or a cut on a yearly plan that was already cheaper than paying monthly. These three Black Friday AI deals have a real track record, and each card says what the deal does and doesn't cover.

#7 · Best for video editing🧠 Real AI · I use it

Descript

Edit video by editing text · Underlord AI co-editor · Studio Sound

✓ Hobbyist $16/mo yearly✓ Creator $24/mo yearly⚠ Last sale was bonus credits

I edit with Descript, and the honest note is this: last year's Black Friday deal was 1,000 bonus AI credits and 10 media hours on annual Creator and Business plans, not a price cut. If you run out of AI credits, that's worth having; if you don't, it's nothing.

The bigger saving is year-round. Descript's pricing page shows annual billing at $16 a month for Hobbyist and $24 for Creator, against $24 and $35 billed monthly. That's up to 35% off with no countdown timer.

🏷️ Price watch: switch to annual if you'll use it all year; the Black Friday bonus only helps heavy AI users.

👍 Pros

  • Text-based editing saves hours
  • Studio Sound fixes bad audio
  • Free plan to test first

👎 Cons

  • AI credits run out on big projects
  • Annual plan is non-refundable after the window
  • Learning curve for timeline editors
🎯 Best for: podcasters and YouTubers who edit talking-head video.
#8 · Best for AI voice⏳ Watching

ElevenLabs

Text to speech · voice cloning · dubbing · music

✓ Starter $6/mo✓ $1 first month (now)✓ Creator $22/mo

Last Black Friday, ElevenLabs cut the Starter plan to $1 for the first month and took 50% off the first month of Creator. When I checked its pricing page on October 14, the same $1 Starter offer was already live again, ahead of the sale.

That's the lesson for most Black Friday AI deals on software: the headline offer is a first-month discount, and month two goes back to $6 or $22. Annual billing, which gives two months free, is the saving that lasts.

🏷️ Price watch: grab the $1 month to test it, then decide on annual. Don't treat it as a year of savings.

👍 Pros

  • Most natural AI voices I've researched
  • Commercial license from Starter
  • Generous free plan

👎 Cons

  • Discount covers one month
  • Credits burn fast on long audio
  • Voice cloning needs care with consent
🎯 Best for: creators who need voiceovers, audiobooks or dubbing.
#9 · Biggest past discount⏳ Watching

OpusClip

Long video to short clips · AI captions · auto reframe

✓ Pro $29 monthly✓ $14.50/mo billed yearly✓ Last sale: 65% off annual

OpusClip ran the deepest cut I found last year: 65% off the annual Pro plan. That sounds huge, but its pricing page already halves Pro on annual billing, $14.50 a month against $29, so the sale was a smaller step than the number suggests.

If you turn podcasts or webinars into Shorts and Reels every week, it's one of the Black Friday AI deals worth waiting for. If you post once a month, the free plan or my Descript review pick may be enough.

🏷️ Price watch: only worth it on the annual plan, and only if you post clips weekly.

👍 Pros

  • Fast clip finding with a virality score
  • Captions in 20+ languages
  • Built-in scheduler on Pro

👎 Cons

  • Annual lock-in
  • Credits limit long uploads
  • Starter is monthly only
🎯 Best for: podcasters and coaches repurposing long video.

Which AI tools never go on sale?

Short answer: ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. None of the three runs reliable Black Friday AI deals, so waiting for a coupon wastes your time. The only discount on Claude and Perplexity is the yearly plan, which is available all year; ChatGPT Plus has no yearly option at all.

ChatGPT Plus

$20 a month

OpenAI rarely discounts it, and Plus has no yearly plan. To save, try the free tier first or check whether the cheaper Go plan covers what you use.

ChatGPT plans →

Claude Pro

$20 monthly · $17/mo yearly

Anthropic doesn't run Black Friday sales. I pay for Claude, and the only saving is the yearly plan: $200 up front instead of $240.

Claude pricing →

Perplexity Pro

$20 a month · about $200 a year

No Black Friday history. The yearly plan saves about $40, and verified students can get Education Pro for $10 a month.

Perplexity Pro →

5 Black Friday deal traps to avoid

⚠️ Renewal shock

A $1 first month renews at full price. Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you sign up for any of the Black Friday AI deals.

⚠️ Annual lock-in

Most software Black Friday AI deals need a year up front and are non-refundable after a short window. Only buy the plan you'd keep anyway.

⚠️ Credits, not price

Bonus credits expire or sit unused. A credit deal is only a deal if you run out every month.

⚠️ Fake 'was' prices

A crossed-out price can be one nobody paid. Check the 90-day low of any Black Friday AI deals with the checker above.

⚠️ Clearance of the old model

Last generation drops hardest. That's fine for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 at $224, not at full price.

My verdict: which Black Friday AI deals to buy first

The best Black Friday AI deals are on things you'd buy anyway. If you're on iPhone and your earbuds are tired, AirPods Pro 3 at $219 or less is the best gadget deal here. For a Prime household, the Echo Dot Max under $85 is the cheapest way into Alexa+. And for value, the Fitbit Charge 6 at $99.95 has never let me down.

On software, take a yearly plan only for a tool you already open every week. The OpusClip annual deal is the strongest of the software Black Friday AI deals if you post clips weekly. For ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, stop waiting: there's no sale coming.

Black Friday AI deals: FAQ

Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for AI deals?

+

For gadgets, Black Friday week is usually better: Amazon devices, AirPods and Fitbit reach their lows from about a week before Black Friday. For AI software and subscriptions, Cyber Monday often has the deepest offers. If a gadget hits its buy-under price on Friday, don't wait for Monday.

What are the best AI gifts under $100 on Black Friday?

+

At sale prices, the AirTag 4-pack (under $85), the Echo Dot Max (under $85) and, just above, the Fitbit Charge 6 at $99.95. For software, an ElevenLabs Starter month for $1 is the cheapest way to try AI voice. My free AI Gift Finder matches more ideas to a budget.

When do Black Friday AI deals start?

+

Black Friday AI deals run around Friday, November 27 and Cyber Monday, November 30. Amazon usually opens its Black Friday week about seven days earlier, and many AI software tools open early offers for email subscribers from mid-November. Software deals often peak on Cyber Monday rather than Friday.

Do ChatGPT and Claude have Black Friday deals?

+

Not in any reliable way. OpenAI rarely discounts ChatGPT Plus, and its consumer Plus plan has no annual option. Anthropic doesn't run Black Friday sales on Claude, but Claude Pro costs $17 a month on an annual plan instead of $20, which is the saving available all year.

Are Black Friday AI deals on software worth it?

+

Only when the discount covers the plan you'd buy anyway. Many Black Friday AI deals on software are first-month discounts or bonus credits, and the price returns to normal after that. Check the renewal price, whether the deal locks you into a year, and whether the regular annual plan is already cheaper.

What is the best AI gadget to buy on Black Friday?

+

Among Black Friday AI deals on gadgets, AirPods Pro 3 lead for iPhone owners; they hit $219.99 last Black Friday and $199 just after. For a smart home, the Echo Dot Max, with a record low of $79.99. For the best value, the Fitbit Charge 6, which keeps returning to $99.95.

How can I tell if a Black Friday deal is real?

+

Compare the sale price with the lowest price in the last 90 days, not with the crossed-out 'was' price. A price tracker shows that history. If the deal is within a few percent of the 90-day low, it's real; if the item sold for less in October, wait. The checker on this page does the math for you.

Should I buy AI gadgets before Black Friday?

+

Only if the price already matches the buy-under number on its card. Amazon devices, Fitbit and AirPods have all reached their lowest prices during or just after the holiday sales. If you need it now and it's at the buy-under price, there's little reason to wait.

Are Black Friday AI deals the same in Europe and the UK?

+

No. This page uses US prices in USD. Amazon runs Black Friday in the EU and UK too, but prices, timing and discounts differ, and some AI features, like parts of Meta AI or Alexa+, are limited outside the US. Check your local Amazon store and the feature list for your country.
